When looking at the "KM Table" picture you will see that the "External Environment" and "Metadata" are the foundation factors for Knowledge. This website originated because of one of the principles of Knowledge as an entity, the "External Environment". When you are reading this piece it is because of this dimension in KM.
Trying to make sense of what is happening "out there" made me think on how to connect all the Knowledge Management Experts. We all attend numerous webinars, read a lot about KM, trying to connect the dots and want to share information and knowledge. This site will hopefully evolve in such a way that all KM Practitioners will be able to connect on all levels of KM, from Theory to Practice, discussing KM and sharing KM stories. This site will solely depend on what the "External Environment" wants. Your input will be added as part of this website. Please send an email with any suggestions and topics. If you want to start a KM argument asking other KM Experts for input, this is the place to do it, it will be added as a Blog to be discussed. LinkedIn updates will be posted to share your input.
One of the goals will be to use Graph Technology to connect all the KM Practitioners in such a way to share more knowledge. And yes, we all know it is impossible to capture all tacit knowledge but at least it will give a starting point to find a connection to share knowledge.
